आपने 9 के पहाड़े याद किए होंगे । इसे याद किए बिना भी आप आसानी से लिख सकते हैं। इस के लिये-   1. बाईं ओर (यहां 9 x 1 , 9 x 2 , ......) क्रमबद्ध तरीके से लिखें ।   2. उत्तर के भाग में , पहले 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , ..... ऊपर से नीचे तक लिखें।   3. अब 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , ..... को नीचे से ऊपर की ओर लिखें।   बस , 9 के पहाड़े तैयार।  नीचे एक नज़र डालें।

9 এর সিরিজ দিয়ে গুন 9 এর সিরিজ দিয়ে গুণের ক্ষেত্রে তিন প্রকারের গুল হতে পারে 1. সংখ্যার অংক এবং  9 এর সংখ্যা সমান যেমন ৩৪৫ x  ৯৯৯ 2. সংখ্যার অংক বেশি, 9 এর সংখ্যা কম ৩৪৫১ x  ৯৯৯ 3. সংখ্যার অংক কম, 9 এর সংখ্যা বেশি ৩৪ x  ৯৯৯ 1. সংখ্যার অংক এবং 9 এর সংখ্যা সমান মনে করো আমরা 653 x 998 করতে চাই এক্ষেত্রে প্রথমে মূল সংখ্যা থেকে 1 বিয়োগ করলে উত্তরের বাম দিকের অংশটি পাওয়া যাবে উত্তরটি কে গুণক ( অর্থাৎ 9 এর সিরিজ) থেকে বিয়োগ করলে উত্তরের ডান দিকের অংশটি পাওয়া যাবে (653-1)  (999-652) = 652          347 = 652347 আরো একটি উদাহরণ 768 x 999 = (768-1)  (999-767) = 767           232 = 767232 2. সংখ্যার অংক কম 9 এর সংখ্যা বেশি 65 x 999 এক্ষেত্রে পদ্ধতিটি একই হয় শুধু অংক শুরু করার আগে গুণ্য বা মুল সংখ্যার বামদিকে 0 বসিয়ে সেটি গুণক এর সাথে সমান অংকের করে নিতে হবে 065 x 999 = (065-1)  (999-064) = 064              935 = 64935 আরো একটি উদাহরণ 0076...
